Another easy short walk, done on the morning before Fortescue, and again selected for its nice forests, in light of the fact that the weather everywhere was pretty bad. Not much of a view from the top either.
Drive down towards the Tasman peninsula, turning left onto the dirt road that takes you to the start of the track (see map). You follow 4wd tracks as they zig zag up, then continue on a cairned and taped track up past the fire tower and to the summit. Take care on the summit to follow the right tapes back down, as there are a number of ways off. It’s less than an hour up, so a nice short one for winter too! See if you can find the geocache while you’re there 😉
All up (one way only – up): 2.8km, 58min, 413m ascent.
